Although money has been tight, donors have always come through to keep this site afloat. Wild popularity of the Security Guard effectively killed my Tripod site, and I had to hold a fundraiser to pay for a new web host. Don Hopkins, Tom van Dijk, and James Sausville come to mind. I thank the brilliant individuals in the community who made object hacking more accessible. Over time I lost interest in skins and became fascinated with the potential of objects in The Sims. So I opened a Tripod site and uploaded my skins and a few objects. Much to my surprise, they achieved relative popularity.

I started by submitting my skins to The Sims Resource. Some of these old relics are still on my website. Before I knew it, I had made a few of my own creations (mostly skins). Expansion packs and custom content followed. When I started playing The Sims so many years ago, I was young and naïve, simply enjoying the game as it was. In short, I have lost interest in The Sims.

If you design or furnish their house in such a way that it makes the Sims long, cumbersome trips to accomplish a task, or if objects block the clear pathway to objects they’re interested in, they won’t hesitate to complain.I feel like I owe the Sims community an explanation for my inactivity.

Remember, your Sims may lust for a plasma TV, but if daddy’s not bringing in the dough (nor momma as well), you might be sending your Sims to skid row.
